Won't a tattoo in this style become a mess within a year?

All tattoos fade slightly over time. While the degree of fading can vary, it depends more on the tattoo artist's skill and the client's skin condition rather than the tattoo style. Some people say that tattoos without outlines and with a lot of detail will become a mess quickly, but that's not true. In fact, as time passes, the way the tattoo blends naturally with the skin can look even more impressive. If you're curious about healed tattoos I've worked on, ranging from six months to seven years old, please check the three pinned videos in the Reels section of my IG. You can also see photos of healed tattoos in the Highlights.

02

How do I prepare for my appointment?

California state law requires me to record your government-issued ID info, so please bring a valid form of identification with you. Also, your body condition leading up to your tattoo session is very important. I recommend that you eat well before you come in, and remember to stay hydrated.

Please refrain from drinking alcohol the day before your tattoo session. Alcohol can increase bleeding for up to 24 hours. Blood also dilutes out pigments, affecting both the appearance of your tattoo as well as the healing process.

Make sure you have had a good night’s rest so that your skin will accept the ink more easily.

And if you have hair on the area where you want to get your tattoo, please shave that area prior to your session.

03

Is a touch-up necessary?

A touch-up is not mandatory, but it can be done if needed over time. It's better to attempt it when necessary rather than unnecessarily irritating the tattooed area.

03-1

Do you do cover-up work?

I do not perform cover-up work, add to existing tattoos, or touch up other artists' work.

04

Can I use numbing cream?

I'm sorry, but please don't use numbing cream. It's better not to use it because there are many details involved in the tattoo. However, don't worry. You can take breaks during the session, and I'll spray a pain-relieving solution to help you manage the pain.

04-1

Can I bring friends?

You can bring one friend or family member with you. However, once the session starts, they cannot stay beside you and will need to wait in the waiting area. I prefer a focused environment to provide you with the best quality tattoo.

05

How far in advance should I contact you to make an appointment?

I usually finish scheduling appointments 2-3 months in advance. Therefore, if you contact me 1-2 months before your desired date, we should be able to schedule your appointment with plenty of time. If you want to prepare for the tattoo cost or are curious about the price, please send me an inquiry form. I can provide you with an estimated price.

07

What payment methods do you accept?

You can pay with cash, Zelle, Venmo, card, or PayPal. However, please note that a 3% fee will be added for card, Venmo, and PayPal payments.

09

Can I see my design before the appointment date? And can I make changes or revisions to it?

Yes, for custom designs, I send them to you 1-2 days before the appointment. If needed, you can request minor revisions. However, if you want to make significant changes that differ greatly from the original design discussed, or if you want an entirely new design, additional fees may apply, and we might need to reschedule the appointment.

06

Do you create custom designs? And can you help if the design isn't clear?

Yes, I create custom designs by adding my ideas to the designs requested by clients. And it's okay if you're not sure what you want. I can help with that. However, it’s easier to discuss the design if you provide at least a theme rather than something too broad. You can also just suggest a theme and leave the entire design process to me. This way, I can create a more unique and special design for you.

08

Do you offer in-person consultations?

I conduct all consultations via email. However, in very special cases where an in-person consultation is necessary, we can schedule a meeting. Please note that this will incur an additional fee.

10

How much tip should I prepare?

The industry standard is usually 15% to 20%, but this is neither fixed nor mandatory. If you enjoyed working with me and are satisfied with your tattoo, you can tip as much as you feel comfortable with. I don't want you to feel any pressure about this.
